1.1.10.2. Hand-operated air conditioning system

Fig. 1.105. Appearance of the control panel of the hand-operated air conditioning system: 1 – handle of the switch of the modes of distribution of air; 2 – switch of frequency of rotation of the fan; 3 – air temperature regulator; 4 – air conditioner switch; 5 – switch of the modes of ventilation of salon

Appearance of the control panel of the hand-operated air conditioning system is shown in fig. 1.105

Air temperature regulator.

Fig. 1.106. Adjustment of air temperature

Air temperature is regulated by rotation of the handle. At rotation of the regulator clockwise air temperature increases, and counterclockwise – decreases (fig. 1.106).

The switch of frequency of rotation of the fan (see fig. 1.105).
The switch allows to regulate the frequency of rotation of the fan.
About – the Fan is switched off.
1-Low speed.
2 - Average speed.
3 - High speed.
4 - Maximum speed.

The switch of the modes of distribution of air (see fig. 1.105).
Turn the switch handle in one of provisions which corresponds to the air distribution mode chosen by you.

The air conditioner switch (see fig. 1.105).
To turn on the air conditioner, press the A/C switch. The conditioner of air turns on (at the same time the indicator which is built in the button lights up) if the fan works (the switch of the fan has to be in one of provisions: "1", "2", "3", or "4").
To switch off the air conditioner, press the A/C switch once again.

NOTE
The conditioner of air can not function at a temperature of air close to 0 °C.

The switch of the modes of ventilation of salon (see fig. 1.105).
The switch allows to switch off the mode of forced ventilation and to include the air recirculation mode and vice versa.
Press the switch to switch the current mode of ventilation of salon (for example, to switch off the mode of forced ventilation and to include the mode of recirculation of air or on the contrary).
In normal traffic conditions it is recommended to use the forced ventilation mode constantly.
The forced ventilation mode (the indicator is switched off).
Air outside of the car comes to salon. Use this mode for ventilation and heating of salon in normal conditions.
The air recirculation mode (the indicator is switched on).
Access to interior of the car of external air is stopped. Air in salon circulates on the closed contour. The mode of recirculation is recommended to be used at the movement in the conditions of strong dust content of air and in similar cases when it is required to isolate interior of the car from the surrounding atmosphere. Inclusion of the mode of recirculation of air promotes also acceleration of cooling of air in interior of the car.
