1.2.2.3. Switching off of safety cushions of the forward passenger

Before a trip on the car always check that the switch of safety cushions of the forward passenger was in required position.

ATTENTION Do not leave a key in the switch of safety cushions of the forward passenger. Inadvertent switching off of these pillows constitutes danger. In case of the road accident due passive protection of the forward passenger will not be provided. It is fraught with severe injuries and even death of the passenger. In order to avoid inadvertent switching off of safety cushions of the forward passenger always use the same key for switching of the switch and the lock of ignition. In this case you will never leave a key in the switch of safety cushions.

1. Insert a key into a cut of the switch of safety cushions of the forward passenger and turn it clockwise in the provision of "OFF" it (is switched off) (fig. 1.146).

2. Take out a key from the switch.

3. Check that the indicator of shutdown of safety cushions of the forward passenger burned at the included ignition.

Frontal and side safety cushions of the forward passenger, and also a prednatyazhitel of the corresponding seat belt remain in the switched-off state until the switch is not turned again (is included) in a provision of "ON".
