2.1.5.2. System of an admission

Functions, design and work of system of an admission of Mazda 3 (GG) with L3, LF and L8 engines same, as well as on the FS engine of modern model 323 (BJ), except for the following:
– for maintainability improvement the throttle branch pipe of AAS is not used.
– the inlet collector is made of plastic for reduction of weight.
– the system of an air duct with variable characteristics (VAD) is used for improvement of characteristics of the engine.

Fig. 2.56. System of an admission of the Mazda 3 car: 1 – air filter; 2 – idling regulator; 3 – resonant camera; 4 – the operating electromagnetic valve of the VIS (L3) system; 5 – the operating electromagnetic Variable tumble valve; 6 – L8, LF engines; 7 – inlet collector; 8 – executive mechanism of the gate of the VIS (L3) system; 9 – executive mechanism of the gate of the VTCS system; 10 – backpressure valve of the VAD (L3) system; 11 – pedal of management of supply of fuel (R.H.D); 12 – accelerator rope (R. H. D); 13 – pedal of management of supply of fuel (L.H.D); 14 – rope of an accelerator (L.H.D); 15 – gate of the VAD (L3) system; 16 – the operating electromagnetic valve of the VAD (L3) system

– the system of an admission with variable characteristics (VIS) is used. This system is similar to the VICS system of modern model 323 (BJ) with the FS engine.
