3.3.3. System of electronic control (RSM)

The RSM block of the automatic transmission is combined with the engine control unit. The RSM block of the car gives the operating signal on the engine and the transmission according to signals of all sensors and/or switches.
The control unit of the avtomatchesky transmission is responsible for operation of the pump, the operating valve, electromagnetic valves, hydroaccumulators, blocking couplings and brakes. The main pressure in hydraulic system of the automatic transmission is created by the pump, it is regulated by a control system depending on loading and the speed of the car and ensures functioning of the hydrotransformer, blocking couplings and brakes.
Valves of switching operate liquid streams which come to the hydrotransformer and the planetary transmission.
The block of valves has three electromagnetic valves which operate gear shifting and blocking of the hydrotransformer.
