4.1.4.1. The glued balance weight (external)

Remove an old balance weight of a wheel.
Remove the bilateral adhesive tape which remained on a wheel, then clear and degrease the contact platform.
Establish a wheel on the machine for balancing of wheels, measure the size and the provision of an imbalance in the mode for usual balance weights.

You will increase imbalance size on 1,6 to receive value of mass of a balance weight (fig. 4.7).
Choose a balance weight, the closest on weight, establish a balance weight in the situation (outside) specified by the machine for balancing of wheels.
Example of calculation of mass of freight for the set imbalance size:
23 g ґ 1,6 = 36,8 g.
Necessary mass of freight: 35 g.

NOTE
Use freight the weight close to settlement.
Example: 32,4 g = 30 g, 32,5 g = 35 g.

ATTENTION
Use an original counterbalance or equivalent (steel).
At installation of a balance weight press it during 2 with with a force of 25 N on each 5 g.

At installation of two freights place them so that they settled down on both sides of a rim in the situation specified by the machine for balancing of wheels (fig. 4.8).

ATTENTION
– Do not row freights.
– Do not impose freights at each other.
– Total weight should not exceed 160 g.
