Holding a gear wheel shaft, as shown in the figure 5.20, take out the case and a shaft of a gear wheel.

NOTE
If the shaft of a gear wheel is not taken out by a hand, use a press.

Push out a gear wheel shaft from the valve case, as shown in the figure 5.21.

Accurately remove a lock ring, trying not to damage a gear wheel shaft.
