2.3.3.1. Fuel leak check

Disconnect a negative wire of the rechargeable battery.
Remove fuel nozzles together with the fuel distributor, without disconnecting a fuel supply hose.

Fig. 2.219. The distributor of fuel and fuel nozzles fixed by a wire

Rigidly fix fuel nozzles in the fuel distributor by means of a wire (fig. 2.219).
Connect a negative wire of the rechargeable battery.

Fig. 2.220. The scheme of connection of a conclusion of the control F/P socket with a mass of a body of GND by means of a crossing point

Connect a conclusion of the control F/P socket to the mass of a body of GND by means of a crossing point (fig. 2.220).
Turn the ignition key in position of ON to turn on the fuel pump.

Fig. 2.221. Tilt angle of fuel nozzles

Incline fuel nozzles approximately by 60 degrees (fig. 2.221).
Check leak of fuel from snuffled fuel nozzles. If the size of leak exceeds norm, replace a fuel nozzle.
Normal leak of fuel – less than 1 drop in 2 min.
Turn the ignition key in position of LOCK and remove a crossing point.
Install the fuel distributor into place.
