8.5.3. Block of the air conditioning system

The block of the air conditioning system unites blocks of cooling and heating.

Operation of the gate of management of a heater

Fig. 8.62. Operation of the gate of management of a heater: 1 – air stream; 2 – gate of management of a heater; 3 – evaporator; 4 – heater radiator; 5 – block of the air conditioning system; 6 – cold; 7 – hot; 8 – cold air; 9 – warm air

The gate of management of a heater installed in the block of the air conditioning system operates supply of hot or cold air, depending on position of the regulator of temperature. Control of air temperature is exercised due to change of distribution of air streams.

Operation of the gate of management of the mode of an obduv
The gate of management of the mode of an obduv can be installed in one of provisions: VENT, BI-LEVEL, HEAT, HEAT/DEF or DEFROSTER, depending on situation the regulator of the mode of an obduv.

Fig. 8.63. Operation of the gate of management of the mode of an obduv: 1 – air stream; 2 – gate of management of the mode of an obduv; 3 – evaporator; 4 – heater radiator; 5 – block of the air conditioning system; 6 – to the central channel; 7 – to a side channel; 8 – to forward and back channels of heating; 9 – to the deflector of system of heating and a side channel; 10 – VENT; 11 – BI-LEVEL; 12 – HEAT; 13 – HEAT/DEF; 14 – DFROSTER; 15 – cold air; 16 – warm air

As a result, the mode of airdistribution changes.
