8.5.4. Evaporator

The evaporator of new type in which the multiline evaporator (consisting of an element of condensation and an element of overcooling) and a gas-liquid separator (modulator) are integrated is used.
The case of the evaporator is covered with polymer which contains antibacterial substance for elimination of a source of an unpleasant smell and distribution of bacteria.
Placement of tanks in the top and lower part of the block of the evaporator, and also an internal design of plates allowed to provide the following:
– efficiency of heat exchange is improved;
– distribution of temperatures became more uniform;
– the evaporator became thinner.

Fig. 8.64. Operation of the evaporator

In the accepted cycle of preliminary cooling after coolant passes through an element of condensation of the evaporator, liquid and gaseous coolants which could not be liquefied are cooled in an overcooling element again. Thus, coolant is sent to the evaporator in almost completely liquefied state.
