1.4.1.3. Replacement of a faulty wheel

NOTE
The following signs can demonstrate damage of a wheel.
– Increase in resistance to rotation of a steering wheel.
– The increased vibration of the car.
– Withdrawal of the car aside.

To replace the damaged wheel, curtail to the region of the carriageway and, observing precautionary measures, slowly move to the next horizontal platform removed on rather safe distance from a carriageway. The car stop on the carriageway or on the edge of the road with heavy traffic constitutes danger.
Stop the car on the flat horizontal platform at safe distance from a transport stream and completely turn on the parking brake. Transfer the lever of the switch of ranges to situation "Park (P)" (parking) (the car with automatic transmission) or transfer the gear shifting lever to the provision of the first transfer or transfer of a backing (the car with the mechanical transmission) and kill the engine. Turn on the alarm light system.
Make sure that passengers went out of the car, and are at safe distance from a carriageway. Get a jack, the tool and a spare wheel. Enclose in front and behind under a wheel which is located on diagonal from damaged, an antiretractable emphasis.
