2.1.1.14. Camshaft

The block of detection or the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft (CMP) which is combined with a cam-shaft is located in a cam-shaft of inlet valves on engines of the L8 and LF models.
The block of detection (trigger) of the sensor of provision of a cam-shaft (CMP) is located in a cam-shaft of the drive of inlet valves on L3 model engines (with the mechanism of change of phases of gas distribution).

Fig. 2.22. Rapredvala of engines of the Mazda 3 car: 1 – cam-shaft of the drive of inlet valves; 2 – cam-shaft of the drive of final valves; 3 – emphasis; 4 – working ledge of a cam; 5 – basic neck of a cam-shaft; 6 – lower part of a cam; 7 – ledges for sensors of provision of a cam-shaft; 8 – special adaptation

The groove of synchronization of VMT of the first cylinder is located in a back part of cam-shafts of the drive of inlet and final valves (fig. 2.22).
