6.2.10.3. Check and adjustment of length of the speaker of a rod

By means of the manual vacuum pump create in the amplifier of a brake vacuum – 66,7 kPa (–500 mm of mercury.).

Weaken a lock-nut and adjust length of a press rod so that length "In" became equal to a preset value (fig. 6.31).
Regulate, so far the gap between the acting part of a rod and the screw will not become equal 0 mm – nominal length at indications of the vacuum gage of 66,7 kPa (-500 mm of mercury.).
