6.2.11.1. Dismantling

Uncover and take the mesh filter from a tank of the main brake cylinder.
Turn off the screw of fastening and remove a tank.
Remove two sealing rings.
Install the cylinder in a vice.
Using the screw-driver, push pistons on all course, turn off a lock bolt and remove ring consolidation.

NOTE
Wind the screw-driver with a plaster or an adhesive tape not to damage pistons and a mirror of the cylinder.

Fig. 6.33. Removal of a spring ring

Press the piston the screw-driver and by means of tonkogubets for removal of spring rings remove a spring ring (fig. 6.33).

Fig. 6.34. Extraction of primary piston with a spring

Turn off a lock piston bolt with laying and take primary piston with a spring, extending it it is strict on an axis without distortions (fig. 6.34).

NOTE
If to take the piston at an angle, it is possible to damage a cylinder mirror.

Fig. 6.35. Extraction of the secondary piston

Put a rag on two wooden whetstones and easily strike with a cylinder flange whetstones until the secondary piston comes to light. Make sure that the distance (A) specified in the figure 6.35 from a rag to top of whetstones – not less than 100 mm.
Be convinced of lack of a rust and scratches on a cylinder mirror.
Be convinced of lack of wear and damages of the cylinder.
If it is necessary, replace the cylinder.

ATTENTION
Replace all details, in a repair kit, used for service of the main brake cylinder.

At installation grease rubber details with pure brake fluid for assembly simplification. Do not use production compressed air for drying and cleaning of details of the brake mechanism. It can damage rubber details. If any detail of hydraulic system is removed or disconnected, completely pump over the brake system.
Perform all repair work on a pure workbench.
